Skyladder is a VPN client for iPhone and iPad. It connects to the VPN and proxy servers you already have from a provider of your choice. Skyladder does not run servers or sell subscriptions, has no accounts, and collects no personal data.
What it does
- Adds your servers from a subscription URL, the clipboard, a QR code or a file: share links (plain or base64 lists), Clash and sing‑box configurations, and WireGuard files.
- Finds the fastest server. Auto tests your servers and uses the fastest one; test again any time to pick anew.
- Three outbound modes: Global sends everything through the server, Rule‑Based follows routing rules you control, and Direct sends nothing through it.
- Connects on its own with Auto connect on demand, on Wi‑Fi, cellular or both, except on Wi‑Fi networks you trust.
- Backs up your servers and settings to a file encrypted with a passphrase only you know.
- Speaks 19 languages.
Getting started
- Get a subscription URL, QR code or configuration file from your VPN provider.
- In Skyladder, open Servers, tap Add Subscription, and choose URL, Clipboard, QR code or File.
- Pick a server, or Auto.
- On Home, tap the power button. The first time, iOS asks to add a VPN configuration: allow it. Connection test and My IP on Home show that traffic goes through the server.
Common questions
Where do I get servers?
From a VPN provider you choose. Skyladder is only the client: it does not sell servers or subscriptions, and we cannot see or change your provider's servers.
A server doesn't connect.
- On Servers, refresh the subscription, so its list is current. Your provider may have changed or retired the server.
- Tap Test All, then pick a server that answers, or use Auto.
- Check that your subscription is still active with your provider.
Connected, but nothing loads.
Tap Connection test on Home. If it fails, the server isn't answering: choose another one. If you use Rule‑Based mode, try Global to rule out a routing rule.
How do I stop the VPN from reconnecting by itself?
Turn off Auto connect on demand in Settings.
What does Skyladder collect?
Nothing. Your servers and settings stay on your device. The Privacy Policy lists every network request the app makes.
